Gossip Girl Season Two

Gossip Girl season two featured a total of 25 episodes and started airing on September 1, 2008. However, the second season of Gossip Girl ended on May 25, 2009. The season premiered with 3.43 million viewers, which is almost equal to the first season and concluded with 2.23, lower than expected. Gossip Girls season two primarily explores the senior year of the most of the characters of the show. The season also shows the continuity of their new found relationships as well as their final encounter with ‘Gossip Girl’ and their attempts to get into college.

The first few episodes of the Gossip Girl season two also shows part of the summer vacation before they actually begin with the school year. In this season of Gossip Girl, the role of Gossip Girl slightly reduces, she further continues to run her blog but started keeping ultimate details for herself, sending it in the final episode as the last blast, where Serena finally decides to find out who "Gossip Girl" really is, but eventually fails.

Gossip girl season two also focuses on the two main characters Blair & Chuck, who were titled as ‘the heart of GG’ by People magazine. Initially, both Blair and Chuck show their negative feeling for each other and also schemes as well as manipulations. Once all the games are done they ultimately say "I love you" to each other. The second season of Gossip Girls also shows other storylines including Blair’s attempt of entering Yale University, the death of Bart bass, Dan’s transformation and his relationship with Serena’s teacher Rachel Carr.

The other storylines of Gossip Girl season two also includes the breaking up of Serena with Dan, revealing the career of Jenny as fashion designer as well as her rebellions which eventually ended after becoming Queen Bee. The season two of Gossip Girls also reveals about the end of Nate and Chuck's friendship and Nate's friendship with Dan; Nate's family problems which continue to grow and affect on his new found relationship with Vanessa; Rufus and Lily's relationship after Bart's death, their engagement, and revelation that they have a son; and Serena's involvement with Poppy Lifton.
